Hi.  I’m David, the new Youth Director at Bethlehem Covenant.  And this (gesturing grandly) is the new Bethlehem Covenant Youth website.

More specifically, this is the Junior High Site.  If you’re more interested in a Senior High Site, try clicking HERE.

We’re new from the ground on up, starting from scratch, and giving you the chance to make this your Youth Group .  At Bethlehem, you don’t join a youth group, you help form one.

This year, the Junior High program is called CrossRoads.  Teenagers face hard decisions every day.  The stakes can be high, the answers can seem hidden.  ”Stand at the crosroads and look” GOD says.  ”Ask for the ancient paths and where the best road is.  Walk in it, and you will live in peace.” (Jeremiah 6:16)  At Bethlehem, we’re asking for that path, one step at a time.

As for the site, let’s start at the top.

Roll your mouse over the menu at the top of this page, and you’ll see all the site’s individual web pages.  Each one has its own description, once you’ve clicked on it, explaining the content you’ll find there.  The “Upcoming Events” section is where you’ll find most  of the information you need.  Dates, times, costs, directions, etc… All these things will be listed under “Upcoming Events”.

To the right is a host of links.  Some bring you to pages on this site.  Others will take you to various resources within the larger Covenant Church.  Roll your mouse over a link to preview the site without actually going to it.

You’ll also notice a Keep Me Posted” button.  Click this button, or the RSS feed, and you’ll be a Subscriber.  You’ll be automatically updated of posts and changes via email.  Below this button, are more details on future events.  Clicking any of those brings you to the meat-and-potatoes details, skipping the bells and whistles.

Finally, what would the internet be without anonymous commenting?  Below, you can leave you questions or remarks, and we’ll get back to you in a hurried fashion.
