Jr. High MEA Retreat – “Breakaway” October 19-21
Many of you have signed up online for the MEA Retreat next weekend, at Covenant Pines. But, if you haven’t yet added your name to the list of attendees, this is your official reminder! Again, you can sign up online (click HERE to go to the Online Registration page) or, you can pick up a Registration Booklet in the Church Office, and mail/fax it to the Covenant Pines office (all that info is included in the Booklet).
The cost of the Retreat is $125. The price includes transportation, and there are always scholarships available if you let Dave know. As always, contact Dave or the Church Office with any questions. Hope to see you all there!

All Junior Highers Attending MUUUCE:
Thanks so much for joining us at MUUUCE this year! We’ve got one of the biggest groups we’ve ever taken from Bethlehem, and we’re excited you’re a part of it. The final details you need to know are as follows:
-
We depart from Bethlehem at 4 PM this Thursday afternoon.
-
You will need to have a signed copy of the Individual Student Medication Form. You need this even if you have no medications with you, since this form acts as your Bus Pass at MUUUCE. (PARENTS: If you haven’t turned one in, you can find a copy here, or sign one when you drop your child off.)
-
You may want some spending money for snacks, t-shirts, etc…
-
We will return to Bethlehem at 12:30 PM this Saturday afternoon, very, very tired.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I’ve been swamped with wrapping up the senior high Missions Trip, but our sights are now turned fully upon MUUUCE. It’s going to be a great time. See you soon!
Put the summer heat in a headlock! Trade in the humidity outside for a night inside with some junk food and your closest friends.
This Friday evening, we’ll be in the Community Room, watching movies the way they were meant to be seen, on a huge screen and accompanied by pizza. There’s no cost to attend, so bring friends. RSVP by either sending Dave and email, or commenting in the Comment area below.
Show up and vote on what to watch. We’ll either watch Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Gulliver’s Travels, or Gnomeo & Juliet. No matter what’s up on the big screen, you’re bound to have a good time. Hope to see you all there!

With the Confirmation Retreat less than stone’s throw away, I wanted to make sure everyone’s on the same page. Below, you’ll find the schedule for all 3 days we’ll be up at Covenant Pines. It’s most important to not the DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL times. Covenant Pines’s website has a list of what to bring (and what not to bring). Click here for that list.
Per the usual, feel free to let fly any questions you have about the weekend. here are the schedules for the 3 days we’ll be gone:
CONFIRMATION RETREAT Friday Schedule

Please join us this Friday! Bring the family to our Every Kid A Camper fundraiser, and help us support the scholarship fund for Covenant Pines.
We’ll be in Fellowship Hall from 6 to 7:30 pm for tacos and entertainment. A team from Covenant Pines will give us the rundown on how we can help reach kids who otherwise might never make it to camp.
For these kids, Every Kid A Camper provides a way. The EKAC program pays 80% of the registration fee for grades 1 to 4, 70 percent of the fee for grades 5 to 8, and 60 percent for grades 9 to 12.
Again, we’d love for you to turn out for this fun evening. If you can make it, please email Cindy Bergstrom (Bergstrom at BethlehemCov dot org) with a quick RSVP. Hope to see you there!
Bethlehem Students (and their Parents),
This coming Sunday, the Youth Group will be hosting an Easter Brunch to help raise funds for this summer’s missions trip to the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation, in Montana.
We’d love your help and support next Sunday, especially if you have a student that’s hoping to come along with us. Our three main areas of need are 1) food preparation, 2) food serving, and 3) cleaning up afterwards. If you are attending the first Easter Service, you can help us clean up. If you’re attending the second Easter Service, you can help with food preparation. Everyone can help us serve the congregants!
You help is greatly appreciated! Please email David to let him know where you can be of service.
Thanks!
David (& the Bethlehem Youth Commission)

Seeing as how it’s April, I figured some folks might start to notice that their old CrossRoads Calendars quit being helpful about 2 days ago. To remedy this, I’ve put another 3 months worth of events on the Calendar page (click here).
You can download it off the site and print it out at home, or you can swing by the Church Office to pick one up. I’d also be happy to mail one out to you; just let me know. In the coming days, I’ll have web pages up for the individual events, listing all the pertinent details for your convenience.
Also, a quick reminder that we’re having the Silent Auction after the service tomorrow. Any families that can help will be showered in compliments. At the very least, stop by to bid on something. It’s a good time and a great cause.
